Horse parade brings joy to seniors at Seashore Highlands Retirement Community
It’s not every day you see a parade of horses galloping down the road, but that was the view for the folks over at the Seashore Highlands Retirement Community in Gulfport this morning.
The ‘Trail-Graze-Hers’ rode their horses down the streets of the retirement community as seniors lined up to watch this parade.
Many were able to watch from the comfort of their own porches while others gathered on sidewalks in socially distant groups to see the show.
News 25 spoke with the ‘Trail-Graze-Hers’ who said they wanted to ride their horses at Seashore Highlands to bring happiness and joy to all of the residents.
The ‘Trail-Graze-Hers’ are a group of women who meet every Tuesday to ride their horses on trails which is what inspired the groups clever name.
The ‘Trail-Graze-Hers’ features riders of all ages with the youngest being just nine-years-old and the oldest member being 74-years-old.
