Homicide investigation underway in Moss Point

Investigators in Moss Point are trying to bring justice to the families of two victims of a deadly shooting.

Moss Point police responded to reports of an assault on Old Slag Road on December 22^nd. A woman being treated for a gunshot wound was receiving on-site medical treatment when officers found two additional victims in the home.

The bodies of 19-year-old Asia Norman and 32-year-old George Kirkland were found inside the home with fatal gunshot wounds.

The motive remains unclear at this time. Police are urging anyone with information on this case to call Moss Point Police or Coast Crime Stoppers.
