High School Football: Gulfport at D’Iberville

Ten weeks into the high school football season, Gulfport is very much in control of its own destiny in the Region 4 Class 6A standings. Tonight, the Admirals had the chance to completely shift the balance of power on the road at reigning district champion D’Iberville.
Gulfport already looking to lock up the league crown with the head-to-head win and a little bit of help elsewhere.
Gulfport wins 34-14. Admirals still allowing less than ten points per contest through five district games.
So Admirals get the win, but they also need Hancock to lose at Harrison Central. That doesn’t happen at all, Hawks go on the road and win it 35-0. First shut out for the Red Rebels since joining the 6A ranks.
