Harrison County Sheriff’s Office investigating body found in Saucier

On Wednesday, February 10th, 2021, Sheriff Troy Peterson announced the discovery of a body off a forestry road in Saucier.

According to Sheriff Troy Peterson, on Monday, February 8th, 2021, Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a hunter finding a body the woods.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the body of a white female approximately 150 feet from the road way. Harrison County investigators are requesting assistance in identifying the unknown female. She is described as a white female, 5’4 between 140 to 160 pounds with brown or dark red hair, between 30 to 50 years of age.

The unknown female had many distinguishing tattoos including one in the chest area of a skull with angel wings, on the upper right arm/ shoulder area has a small skull/crossbones with a pink bow, and also a large skull with a pink bow and pink stars below it. Both forearms had butterfly tattoos. Right hip had a blue and black nautical star tattoo. Right ankle had the word ‘SIN’ with a backwards N.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Investigators and Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer responded to the scene. No cause of death has been determined and the case is still under investigation.
