Harrison County Sheriff’s Dept. accepts donations for Florence

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is doing their part in helping with relief efforts in North Carolina.

They’re collecting supplies today until Friday this week before heading to the East Coast on a road trip.

Captain Craig Necaise says with so much flooding, sanitation becomes the main issue so they’re in need of any cleaning supplies, rubber gloves, bleach, mops, and tarps. They’ll also be accepting water, Gatorade, and any canned food.

Captain Necaise says this is something they want to do to repay it forward from 13 years ago after Hurricane Katrina.

If you want to donate head to the Harrison County Sheriff Department’s Work Center located at 10046 Lorraine Road in Gulfport.
