Harrison County Sheriff’s Department Opens Office at Courthouse

Being safer in Biloxi just got more convenient.
The Harrison County Courthouse in Biloxi is now a place where residents can file police reports and get background checks.
This is the first time a sub-station at the courthouse will be available to the public in 12 years.
Captain Walter Pitts of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department tells News 25 having an office right at the courthouse will be a convenience for Harrison County residents and benefit their safety. “It’s going to save them from having to drive all the way out to the jail. If they’re in the City of Biloxi, they can come here. It’s going to be a full service office so whatever they had to do at the jail they can do here.”
The sub-station will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
