Harrison County Preps for Elections

Harrison County poll workers were out early this morning preparing for tomorrow’s primary elections. Poll workers will be in charge of 58 polling locations throughout Harrison County.
Today, the Harrison County circuit clerk told News 25 Harrison County has well over 100,000 registered voters. She couldn’t give estimation for tomorrow’s voter turnout, but says the good weather forecast does work in their favor. She also reminds voters to bring their photo ID’s with them to vote.
“You have to show your picture ID to vote, it has to be a picture ID,” said Gayle Parker, Harrison County circuit clerk, “And of course, if you don’t have a picture ID, you can still go in and vote by affidavit and that voter will have five days to come up to the circuit clerks’ office and get a picture ID.”
Harrison County polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
