Harrison County Precinct Changes

One week from today, Mississippians will head to the polls for the state primaries. County leaders want to make sure you know your polling place.
This year, two Harrison County District 1 precincts will change to another location. Those in the new Popps Ferry precinct who used to cast their ballots at the Innovation Center will now vote at the First Baptist Church in Biloxi. More than 5,000 North Bay precinct voters will now mark their ballots temporarily at the Multi-Purpose Center building on Automall Parkway in D’iberville.
Harrison County Circuit Clerk Connie Ladner said, “We’ve put it in the paper. We’ve done media, like we’re doing with you, to get the word out so that voters won’t have any problem on Election Day. There will be signs for the voters so when they pull in, they’ll know where the voting location is. There will be people that work for the county that will be outside directing traffic.”
The deadline to turn in absentee ballots is this Saturday at noon.
