Harrison County opens self-serve sandbag sites amid heavy rain, tropical threat this weekend
(WXXV) — Although we are still a few days away from knowing where Tropical Storm Cristobal will make landfall, forecasters say heavy rainfall and coastal flooding can be expected across the Gulf Coast through the early part of next week.
The Harrison County Emergency Management Agency is preparing now by setting up several self-serve sandbag sites.
The sites are active and ready to serve and will have sand and bags. Those wishing to use the service must provide their own shovels and fill their own bags themselves.
