Harrison County Fire Rescue to receive $620,000 from federal government to replace aging equipment

Harrison County Fire Rescue received exciting news this week.

FEMA, through the U.S. Fire Administration, selected Harrison County Fire Rescue to receive over $620,000 to replace the aging Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs).

The fire department says, “This will be another huge step forward in the countywide fire service improvements over the past couple of years. This grant will allow our staff to employ the latest safety equipment to better serve the citizens of Harrison County.”
