Harrison County Fair Kicks off September 7th

In one week, the Coast will see something it hasn’t seen since the 1930’s.
On September 7th, the Harrison County Fair is set to take over the Harrison County Fairgrounds. That night will be “Church Night” featuring choirs and churches from along the Coast.
Each night will feature something different. From pageants to hot air balloon rides to a $1,000 cornhole tournaments along with concerts featuring Southern Halo and Josh Foster.
Fair organizers tell News 25 there will be something for everyone during the five day fair. Justin Skinner with the Harrison County Fair Association said, “We invite everyone on the Gulf Coast to come out and enjoy. This is a free entry event for all five days. There is no gate fee. There is no parking fee. Come out and enjoy. Have a good time. We’ve got over 90 vendors that are scheduled to be out on the ground for the entire five days of the event. We’d love to see you guys all come out and have a good time.”
The fair is still looking for volunteers. For a full list of fair events and information, visit the Harrison County Fair Facebook page.
