Harrison County Fair Association Looking for Theme

The 2016 Harrison County Fair is not until September. Today, they need your help.
The Harrison County Fair Board Association is trying to come up with a theme for this year’s fair and they want you to come up with it. The theme contest is open to all ages. All you have to be is a Harrison County resident. Everything to do with the fair will be centered around this theme including the fair’s upcoming poster contest.
If you need a little help brainstorming an idea, Justin Skinner, one of the fair’s organizers, has a couple helpful tips to get the ball rolling. “This is Harrison County’s 175th anniversary. The county was founded in 1841. It’s the 175 year mark this year. We would like for it to be kind of county fair themed in nature, agricultural, livestock, the blue ribbon prizes, all of those things. We’ll choose five finalists from all of the entries we have by the Harrison County Fair Association.”
The fair association will be taking submissions via their Facebook page, by email or regular mail until April 1st. Their Facebook page can be found at www.facebook.com/msharrisoncountyfair and their email is Harrisoncountyfair@aol.com.
