Harrison County EMA Director Rupert Lacy retires
Harrison County’s Emergency Management Director has retired after 13 years in that role.
Rupert Lacy’s last day as EMA director for the county was yesterday. Harrison County Spokesperson Jeff Clark tells News 25 that Lacy’s service to the county goes beyond his 13 years as director as he played a big part in the area’s recovery following Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 BP oil spill.
Lacy will be honored for his contributions with a formal resolution at the next board of supervisors meeting on December 7th.
