Harbor Lights Winter Festival Wraps Up

The Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival continues past the Christmas holiday, but not for much longer this year.
The city will pull the plug on the lights for this season on January 1st. If you’d still like to get out and see the excitement, you can every night this week including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Gates are open from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Park closes at 10:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person and two and under get in for free. City of Gulfport Public Information Officer Chris Vignes said, “We’ve had over 58,000 guests, way surpassing last year’s mark. We’re here this weekend through January 1st. We’re excited to have everybody out. It’s been a lot of fun. You can bring kids, you can bring grandparents. There’s a CTA trolley for those in need who would like to ride through the park, but there’s something for everybody. It’s a lot of fun. It’s very affordable.”
The Gulfport Harbor Lights close after Sunday and will reopen next holiday season.
