Hancock Bank Clothing and Toy Drive

Hancock Bank in Gulfport is paying it forward to their colleagues in Louisiana.
A collection drive of gently used toys as well as professional clothing was held today in the One Hancock Plaza lobby.
The company is calling all associates in the Mississippi Gulf Coast to pitch in for those affected by this historic flooding in Louisiana.
Hancock Bank officials tell News 25 South Mississippi was helped by Louisiana residents during Hurricane Katrina, so this is their effort to give back. Mississippi President of Hancock Bank Keith Williams said, “Those associates, after they assessed their personal damages, making sure their families were okay, turned their attention to making sure that the bank got opened because we all know the first step in recovery is to have commerce going again and people need to have access to their money.”
Chief Marketing Officer Dan Marks said, “This is Hancock associates giving back to the folks that are affected by the flood.”
They plan to load donations on a truck and deliver the supplies to Baton Rouge tomorrow.
