Halloween Lights Will Light up Waterpark

There’s no need to be afraid of the dark this Halloween, that is if you plan on attending the City of Gulfport’s light show.
Remember the Christmas lights that decorated Jones Park last year? Well, the computerized lighting displays are making a return to Gulfport.
This October, spooky LED cobwebs, spiders, ghosts and Halloween characters will be haunting Gulf Island Waterpark.
Gulfport Leisure Service Director David D’Aquilla tells News 25 the city’s Halloween lights were donated by Universal Concepts, the same company that made the lights possible last Christmas. “The displays, we have some as large as 15 and 20 feet tall. Frankenstein displays, witches, bats, the whole nine yards. We’re looking to do a family friendly activity and something that will let everyone come out and enjoy the Halloween festivities.”
The Halloween light show starts the second weekend of October. They will run the displays every weekend through Halloween.
