Halloween Fun Festival at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

If the thought of it being Friday the 13th doesn’t give you chills, this might. Lynn Meadows Discovery Center’s annual Halloween is set for 10 a.m. tomorrow.

While it will be different from prior years, it’ll still be spooky, silly, yet this year will be socially distanced.

The festival will have plenty of arts and crafts, outdoor games as well as trick or treating.

The event was originally set to take place on Halloween, but plans changed due to Hurricane Zeta. Lynn Meadows Executive Director Cindy DeFrances said, “The reason that we’re going ahead and going through with it is because we’ve had so many reach out to us to reschedule for that very reason. We were like why not. We have it all together. We just needed to get our grounds cleaned and get it all together. So, we’re ready and excited.”

Costumes are encouraged. It’s free to members and $10 at the gate. There will be lots of candy for the kids.
