Gyms in Mississippi can reopen today with new restrictions in place
Gyms in Mississippi were allowed to open back up today at 8 a.m.
In order to stay open, gyms will have to follow strict sanitation guidelines. They will also have to be closed each day by 10 p.m. and no more than 30 percent of the gym’s capacity will be open to customers at a time.
This comes after weeks of having to be closed down completely under the governor’s orders.
American Martial Arts Academy Owner Leonardo Delgado says he and his team are so excited to be able to serve the public again, but they will be taking the sanitation guidelines very seriously. “Exercise is very important not only for your physical health, but it’s also important for your mental health. So, we want to do our part in helping people to stay mentally strong as well.”
