Gulfport students host tech program

Tonight, students from one Coast high school were chosen to teach C-Spire’s ‘Pilot Program.’

‘The Hour of Code’ event was led by two students from Gulfport High School. The duo educated the group with a customized curriculum of coding which is used in web and app development.

Both students are currently enrolled in a ‘pilot program’ at Gulfport High. The program allows for those participating to earn an associate’s degree in applied science after two years of specialized high school course work and just one additional year of community college.
