Gulfport Student Brings Gun To School

An 8th grader is in custody after bringing a gun to school.

In a statement from the Harrison County school district, the student from North Gulfport 7th and 8th grade school brought a weapon to class today but no other student or faculty were threatened or injured. The 14 year old male is in custody and Gulfport police are investigating the incident.
