Gulfport Shooter Arrested

The man wanted for a weekend shooting at the Mississippi Avenue Apartments has been arrested after turning himself in.
Twenty-two year-old Raheem Tyrese Richardson turned himself into the Gulfport Police Department. On October 31st, Richardson shot the victim multiple times in the torso before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
Sgt. Damon McDaniel said, “After his booking and other procedures, he was transported to the Harrison County Jail where he was held in lieu of a bond of $200,000. It is unknown as to the condition of the victim. That part of the investigation, I’m pretty sure the detectives will be trying to clear that information.”
