Gulfport Municipal Town Hall: Meet the Candidates

Tomorrow the citizens in Gulfport and the candidates running for office will host a town hall meeting to discuss primary elections at the Isaiah Fredrick Community Center.

The town hall will help citizens get well acquainted with each candidate, give the candidates an opportunity to explain their platform, and have an open discussion on what changes will be made in the City of Gulfport.

Moderator and community advocate Bobby Hudson III tells News 25 this town hall will give people a much needed one on one with the candidates. “We are going to talk to them a little bit about their platform and their mission and get to know them a little bit their family and their social life and their involvements here in Gulfport. As well as just to kind of see what exactly is their framework, what exactly is their plan to make Gulfport better. What are they trying to institute? What are they trying to innovate here in Gulfport? There will be an array of questions depending on each ward.”

The town hall is from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. It is open to the public and masks must be worn.
