Gulfport Mayor Proclaims Today as ‘Asgard Motorcycle Day’

Gulfport Mayor Billy Hewes officially proclaimed today ‘Asgard Motorcycle Day’ in honor of all that the group does for our coastal charities.
The Asgard Motorcycle Club has been on the Coast for 37 years. They may look rough and tough, but they consider themselves a group of guys who enjoy helping people. They host the ‘Gulf Coast Memorial Day Blowout’ each year to benefit local charities. Two Coast organizations they partner with closely are the Boys and Girls Club and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Tommy Joe Breaux, the president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Multiple Sclerosis Society said, “They mean everything to us. We couldn’t exist or help anyone with MS without the donations we get from them.”
Tommy Joe Breaux has multiple sclerosis and he tells News 25 the donations that his organization receives from the Asgard Motorcycle Club are personal to him and he is so grateful for their help.
