Gulfport High robotics team competing in World Championship

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A local high school robotics team is headed to the world stage after an impressive season of competition.

Gulfport High School’s Team Fusion 364 has earned a spot at the First Robotics World Championship in Houston.

After months of designing, building, and competing, Gulfport High’s Team Fusion 364 is now taking their talents to the global stage.

The team has spent the season competing in three regional events testing their robot against some of the best student engineers in the country.

Now, their hard work has paid off with an invitation to the First Robotics World Championship in Houston.

The competition will feature more than 500 teams from around the world, all competing in high-energy matches that combine engineering, teamwork, and strategy.

For Team Fusion, it’s not just about winning, it’s about learning, growing, and showcasing their skills.
