Florida woman arrested in Harrison County for cocaine trafficking

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A Florida woman is facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on I-10 Wednesday led to the recovery of more than six pounds of cocaine.

Amy Broadt of Fort Walton Beach is charged with aggravated trafficking of cocaine.

A K9 alerted Harrison County sheriff’s deputies to the possible presence of narcotics, which led to the discovery of the cocaine in the trunk of Broadt’s car.

The case has now been turned over to Harrison County Narcotics Investigators.
