Gulfport Christmas Lights Stolen
The City of Gulfport is now missing thousands of dollars of Christmas lights.
According to Sergeant Damon McDaniel, an East Railroad Street building, which housed the lights, was burglarized three times this week.
The suspect or suspects have stolen up to $80,000 worth of lights and equipment used in this year’s Gulfport’s Harbor Lights Winter Festival.
City spokesman Chris Vignes tells News 25 the property has been secured and authorities are still assessing the damage.
