Gulfcoast Prestige Youth Community Service Mission

“It takes a village” that’s the message the Gulfcoast Prestige Youth organization wants to spread in Jackson County and South Mississippi.

This event at Willow Creek Apartments in Pascagoula allowed children to relax and enjoy food, music, snowballs, and bounce houses.

This service mission reaches out to children, focusing on important issues like community service and anti-bullying.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Danell Jenkins tells News 25 Gulfcoast Prestige gives the youth a chance to build a good relationship with officers and community leaders. “Just being a first responder and reaching back out to the community, being able to bring awareness to parents about different things our youth are going through as well as just being active in the lives of our children.”

Jenkins tells News 25 she eventually wants this to become a monthly event.
