Gulf Coast Vigil for Orlando Victims

At least 50 dead and 53 injured in what officials are calling the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. South Mississippi may be over 500 miles away, but tonight, the Magnolia State will show support for those affected during Sunday’s tragic mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.
News 25’s Kendra Turley has the details.
Social activist organizations across the Coast are inviting the public to meet on the beach across from the Biloxi Lighthouse to mourn and grieve over this tragedy. The candlelight ceremony will honor the victims of Sundays early morning shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
The candlelight vigil will start at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
Mississippi Rising Coalition teamed up with the Rainbow Center, “Come as you are”, the Human Rights Campaign and the Lighthouse Community Church to put this vigil together.
