Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra Show

The Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra brings Native American flare to their show this Saturday.
Peter Rubardt, the orchestra’s music director, tells News 25 a wide variety of cultural influence makes this weekend’s show very unique. This is the first time a special Native American flutist will be joining the orchestra and playing in Mississippi. It’s an experience orchestra leaders say the audience will not forget. “Over the course of the classical concerts that we play, we do play a lot of the classical canon, the Beethoven, the Mozart, but it’s really exciting occasionally to bring in something completely different. It stimulates us and it stimulates our audience,” said Rubardt.
The concert will be at the Biloxi’s Saenger Theatre at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at
