Gulf Coast Search and Rescue Team host joint agency training in Wiggins
WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gulf Coast Search and Rescue Team hosted a joint agency training drill at Flint Creek over the weekend.
The scenario involved two fishermen in a boating accident, agencies worked to conduct land searches, shoreline operations, and much more.
The exercise focused on incident command, search tactics, interagency communication, and resource coordination.
Those who took part include the Wiggins fire and police departments, Stone County Emergency Management Agency, Stone County Fire Service, and the Flint Creek Water Park.
