Gulf Coast Restoration Board begins narrowing down projects

The Gulf Coast Restoration Board has begun the process of narrowing down projects they will recommend to the state legislature for BP oil spill settlement money.

The advisory board, made up of business leaders from various South Mississippi sectors, took part in a virtual meeting this morning to review project applications and to narrow down the list of submitted projects to the board.

Projects that make the cut will be sent to the Mississippi State Legislature to be considered for funding.
