Gulf Coast Pride Day is Saturday

The Gulf Coast Association of Pride is dedicated to providing resources to our local LGBTQ+ community. On Saturday, they will be celebrating just that.

They are hosting ‘Pride Day’ at Point Cadet Plaza in Biloxi. ‘Pride Day’ will have lots of entertainment like Blackwater Brass Band, Rewind Band featuring Lady Patrice, Judge Margaret Alfonso, and multiple drag queens.  There will also be activities for the kids and more than 50 vendors.

This is the third year the Gulf Coast Association of Pride has held this event and they say they always have one goal in mind. Walter Pitts with Gulf Coast Association of Pride said, “We want everyone to come out and enjoy themselves, who they are, the support of the community and just a day to relax and be who you are. It’s for the gay community. It is for the support of the gay community. It is for the family members of gay people and it is just a time to enjoy yourself. That’s what we’re looking for.”

Everything kicks off Saturday at noon and wraps up at 6.
