Gulf Coast Chamber celebrates Women History Month with Generations of Elegance panel
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce kicked off Women’s History Month by hosting ‘Generations of Elegance: A Celebration of Women of All Ages’ panel discussion.
The panel was made up of four different generations of women who discussed the importance of working together to achieve a common goal, no matter the age difference.
The event gave women a chance to celebrate the power and importance of womanhood and explore the struggles and joys that come with being a woman in business. Panelist Dr. Racheal Butler with Coastal Family Health Center said, “I believe that women are very important in what we bring to the table is very very important. I do want to say it’s very important as well to be a mentor to the younger generation and also for the younger generation to be able to take the perspective of those that may be older than them.”
The chamber will host another Women’s History Celebration event on Wednesday, March 22nd at Ms. Audrey’s Southern Kitchen and Catering in Gulfport from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
