Guilty of child exploitation and sexual battery

Thirty-two year-old Quincy Labauve of Biloxi was sentenced this morning to 40 years for charges of child exploitation and sexual battery.

Labauve pled guilty to the crimes on October 16th.

Evidence obtained in the investigation uncovered Labauve’s use of several sexually explicit screen names on a website known as ‘Chatstep.’

Investigators say Labauve downloaded and uploaded child pornography in private chat rooms.

They found hundreds of images and videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct on his phone and laptop.

Labauve is sentenced to ten years on each of the two counts of child exploitation and 20 years on the sexual battery of a child.
