Grant Me Hope: Sisters Makayla and Rachel hope to be adopted!

Every Monday on WXXV we feature children from Mississippi hoping to get adopted. Today you will meet sisters Makayla and Rachel.

Rachel is nine-years-old and is starting third grade. McKayla is 11-years-old and is starting the fifth grade.

McKayla:  I love the most about her is that she has a warm heart and nobody can see it through how she acts.   When I get older or something she will be there for me.

Rachel:  McKayla is strong and amazing in so many ways.  She helps me with my school work and helps me clean my room sometimes.

Rachel:  I like to play baby dolls and I like to talk a lot.

McKayla:  I like to watch T.V. I like to do my nails.  I like hanging out with friends.  Play games, hide-and-go seek and truth or dare, stuff like that.

Rachel:  My super hero is my foster Mom cause she helps me with my school work and she loves me very much.

McKayla:  My super hero is my real Mom because we are there for each other and we’re like twins.  The hardest thing I’ve been through is knowing I wouldn’t be able to go back to my Mom.

McKayla:  What adoption means for me is when you get adopted you have a loving family that wants to take care of you and love you and welcome you into their family.

Rachel:  Someone brings you into their house and loves you forever.

McKayla:  If we were adopted in your family we would be grateful and we would find ways to give back
