Governor Phil Bryant to Sign Several Bills Into Law Today

Governor Phil Bryant is set to sign several bills into law today.

They are:

House Bill 1352, also known as the Criminal Justice Reform Act; House Bill 1283, called the School Safety Act of 2019; Senate Bill 2901, known as the Landowner Protection Act; and Senate Bill 2193, the Tourism Promotion Act.

This ceremonial signing is set to take place at the governor’s office on the third floor of the Mississippi State Capitol at 10 am today.

These, and all other recently passed state laws, will go into effect on July 1st.
