Governor Bryant Says he will stay in Mississippi
Governor Phil Bryant is walking back speculation he might consider a job in the Trump administration.
While he was in Biloxi Tuesday, Bryant said he plans to serve his full term as governor, a term with three years remaining.
Bryant campaigned for Donald Trump by raising money and speaking in several states.
Speculation about a possible move to Washington came after Trump won the election last week.
Bryant had said he did not expect a call to serve in the administration, but also said if a job offer were made, he would consider it.
