Governor Bryant on Initiative 42

Governor Phil Bryant is speaking out about the decision from a Hinds County Judge requiring the state to change the wording of Initiative 43, a highly debated education funding ballot initiative.
On April 2nd, the judge ruled in favor of a lawsuit arguing the language put on the ballot may sway voters.
In an appeal, the state is arguing the Hinds County Circuit Court overstepped its authority in going against the actions of the Office of the Attorney General.
Governor Bryant is standing behind the state legislature.
