Giant American flag painted on field in Indiana

Pilots flying over part of Indiana will be able to tell passengers to look out their window and see a giant American flag.

That’s what Justin Riggins hopes.  He recruited his family and friends to help paint a ten thousand square foot version of “Old Glory” on a field he owns.

They did it in just two hours using 30 gallons of paint. Riggins says it’s the same type of environmentally friendly paint used to mark ball fields.

He wanted to create something people could see from the air to remember there are heroes on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

The property is in Crawfordsville which is about 45 miles from Indianapolis.
