Get Out The Vote and Community Wellness

Two local NAACP Chapters are teaming up to prepare coastians for what they say could be on of the most important presidential elections in decades. Starting today, Biloxi and Gulfport NAACP Chapter begin their three day get out the vote and community wellness crusade. Tonight, region five NAACP Director Reverand Nelson Rivers will speak at a mass community meeting at First Baptist Missionary Church Handsboro in Gulfport. He’ll hold a similar meeting tomorrow night at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in D’Iberville. On Saturday, there will be a wellness fair and legal engagement screening at the Gaston Point Community Center in Gulfport. All of these events are free and open to the public.
