George County Softball punches Fifth straight ticket to South State Championship with 4-3 win over Hancock

Hancock Softball hosted the George County Lady Rebels in hopes of splitting the series and keeping their season alive. The Lady Rebels scored one run in the second, and two runs in the third, and the Lady Hawks tied is mid-way 3-3. It wasn’t until the top of the seventh inning the George County brought a run across and the Hawks couldn’t respond. George County softball is headed to the South State Championship for the fifth year in a row with a final score of 4-3 over Hancock.
