George County Deputy Hendrix Brentz retires after 13 years of service with sheriff’s office

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County Sheriff’s Office is sharing one of their own is retiring after 13 years of service

Hendrix Brentz served as a bailiff for the courts, maintaining order, security, and professionalism within the judicial system.

The sheriff’s office says Brentz’ work ethic and commitment earned him the respect of judges, attorneys, and court staff.

Before serving with the agency, Brentz was in the United States Air Force.

Sheriff Mitchell Mixon says Deputy Brentz has been a respected member of the team for years.
