George County alum Tyrese Fryfogle wins Big Ten Player of the Week

Big time praise in the Big Ten for George County alum Tyrese Fryfogle who’s been named the league’s offensive player of the week for his career game against Michigan State.

The former Rebel went off, hauling in 11 receptions for 200 yards and two touchdowns, all career highs in Indiana’s 24-0 shutout victory.

The win itself was historic as well, marking the program’s first victory over a team ranked inside the top 10 since 1967 as the Hoosiers improve to 4-0 for the first time since 1988.

Over his last six quarters of game action, Fryfogle has 16 catches, 320 yards, and three touchdowns.
