Gautier Looks for City Manager

The City of Gautier will soon be looking for a new city manager after the current holder of that position, Samantha Abell, announces plans to vacate the job.
Gautier Mayor Gordon Gollott tells News 25 Abell will be leaving town in the next six to eight weeks and will use Tuesday night’s council meeting to propose a succession plan.
Abell is suggesting Fire Chief Robert Jones becomes the interim city manager until next year’s election. Gollott says her proposal will likely be approved.
