Garden Park Medical Center implementing new visitor restrictions

Starting today, the Garden Park Medical Center will have new visitor restrictions to protect patients, staff, and others against the Coronavirus.

All non-essential visitors are prohibited from entering the hospital. Garden Park CEO Randy Rogers released a statement this morning saying, “These new restrictions reflect our overarching responsibility to stop the spread of this virus and provide a safe environment as we deliver high-quality, compassionate healthcare.”

The restrictions include:

  • one parent or guardian for a pediatric patient to provide support
  • one support person for labor and delivery patients throughout her hospital stay
  • one support person for those with disabilities or impairments warranting assistance
  • one support person/driver for patients in outpatient surgery
  • one support person for critically ill patient who may be at end of life
