Fuel spill on Lorraine Road

Just before 8 this morning, emergency crews responded to a fuel spill at a Gulfport service station.
Sixty gallons of gasoline was spilled after a tanker valve broke during a refill. The incident occurred in the area near the Circle K station on Lorraine Road in Gulfport, just north of Interstate 10.
The spill was minor and no injuries or delays were reported. Crews at the scene deployed an absorbent compound during the clean-up.
