Free haircuts for first responders

A new hair salon in Gulfport wants to show the community just how much they care about local first responders.
Gorilla Cuts, which is just off Three Rivers Road, opened its doors on August 1st and is bringing a new unique feature to Gulfport. The hair salon will be offering free haircuts to Gulfport law enforcement, paramedics, fire fighters and first responders.
They say if you would like to get your free cut all you have to do is show up in uniform on Monday through Wednesday all year. Gorilla Cuts Owner Ronmon Holmes said, “Well apart of us building our brand, we want to make sure we are relevant in our community. We felt that what better way to give back to the public, just to let people know we are here to serve their grooming needs and that we do care about our first responders.”
Gorilla Cuts is also running specials on back to school haircuts for children until Thursday, August 10th.
