Fourth of July Fun at MGM Park

MGM Park is celebrating its first ever Fourth of July tomorrow and they have big things planned.
While the Shuckers are away, Overtime Sports and Community Bank will be hosting an Independence Day celebration at MGM Park. Admission will be $5 to get in with live music all day. In addition, the park will be packed with activities for kids like inflatables, rock climbing, bungee jumps and more.
This is just one of the non-baseball events the community can expect to see in the park from now on.
Shuckers General Manager Buck Rogers said, “The ballpark is here. Baseball is for 70 days out of the year we’re playing here. There are 295 other days; we’re going to have events out here. So it’s going to be fun, concerts, all kinds of stuff and tomorrow is just the first day of that.”
If you plan on heading over there tomorrow, the gates will open at 2 p.m.
The fun will last all day and at night, the lights will go down at the park so everyone can watch the city of Biloxi’s fireworks show.
