Fourth Annual Fit First Trot Bay St. Louis
Before some Coast residents sat down at the table to eat a few calories for Thanksgiving dinner, they decided to burn a few for good measure.
The fourth annual Fit First Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run was held in Bay St. Louis Thursday morning. This year’s event brought out about 200 runners. Runners of all ages dressed up and took to downtown Bay St. Louis to make a little room before they were stuffed with turkey and all the fixings later in the day.
Some say it’s an excuse to not push away from the table so quickly during dinner.
The proceeds from this year’s race went to Friends of the Animal Shelter in Hancock County.
