Fourth annual Feed the Need Fish Fry

This coming Sunday you can eat some tasty South Mississippi seafood while also helping those less fortunate.
The Lord is my Help Soup Kitchen is using a fish fry and live music to feed the needy in Jackson County. Sunday, in the heart of downtown Ocean Springs at The Grocery at Government Street, everyone is invited to show up for the fourth annual Feed the Need Fish Fry benefiting the soup kitchen.
Organizers tell News 25 there will be fun for the whole family, local seafood, and music. Feed the Need Fish Fry Volunteer Susannah Snyder said, “Just come out and have a good time with us. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, or $15 at the door with a donation of a number ten can good. The Lord is my Help is always looking for donations. Canned goods, dried rice, beans, macaroni and cheese. Lots of ways you can help.”
Blackwater Brass and other local bands will perform. The event is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. rain or shine.
